Agglomerated Marble

  1. Preventative Care

    1. Use hot pads for any heated dish, pan, or hair appliance.
    2. Use cutting boards. Do not cut directly on the surface.
    3. Use coasters under glasses, especially those containing alcohol or citrus juices.
    4. Do not drop heavy items on the counters.
    5. Once a year, reseal with impregnating sealer designed for agglomerated marble.
  2. Routine Care

    1. Wipe loose debris from the counter with a soft hand broom or dry cloth.
    2. Clean the countertop daily using a soft cloth and a neutral, non-abrasive cleanser. Mild dish soap and water work best. Household cleaners can leave a film and should be avoided.
    3. Rinse the cloth frequently in clean water and wipe countertop to remove cleaning solution residue. Allow it to dry naturally.
    4. Avoid lemon, vinegar solutions, or other acids as these can cause etching in the marble surface.
